Unfortunately, it is not possible to use the horizontal mouse wheel in Mendix studio Pro. This would be very useful for microflows, which are horizontal.
Thats not what i want. I have a mouse with 2 mouse wheels. One for horizontal and one for vertical scrolling. Logitech MX master for example. A common Mouse. Mendix Studio Pro is one of the few programs that does not support this feature. All other IDE i use in my job as programmer support the functionality of a common horizontal mouse wheel.
I also now that this should not be a hard task to implement…
So to improve usability of an IDE Mendix should support such a widely used feature.
I found people more than 4 years ago who have already proposed this idea.
You can hold down shift and use the vertical scroll wheel on your mouse to scroll horizontally
