Upgrading Modeler from 7.16 to latest 7 version

Is there any risk or issues upgrading the modeler from 7.16 to 7.23?  I know that upgrading to 8 will be a big change but is it safe to upgrade within version 7?

Ryan,

No big risks for that upgrade.

My approach would be:

  • commit all changes
  • perform the upgrade in main on your development machine without committing
  • if there are not major issues, you can commit can go from there
  • if there are major issues, you can delete your local copy and download the last committed version to revert to 7.16
