Hello good people, We’re reviewing mendix for a big project. I’ve been very impressed so far with Mendix. However, I just realized Mendix Studio, the web version is being cancelled, or “fused” as they’d like to call it :) Isn’t the industry trend to move to the cloud so you can just login anywhere and work on your app. Who wants big fat desktop installed apps. I mean, the app is in the cloud, office 365 is in the cloud, everything else is in the cloud. I understand the difficulty of maintaining a couple of dev environments but it’s disappointing. If another dev platform has a web dev environment that would be a big advantage. Thanks.
