Is there a button for changing existing data

Hello everybody, I am a student at an university and working with Mendix as an university programm right now. I just started studying and therefore I am just a beginner in working with Mendix. I use the Mendix Studio version.   Is there a button for “changing” ?  For example when you enter data into system, e.g. customer data, you should be able to change this data, should’nt you? Imagine you have a customer and he/she moves to another place or gets a new mobile number. The app I am programming should be able to change data like that. Unfortunately I couldn’t find a button like that in the “Tool Box” of “Pages” How can I do it?   Thank you for your help!

Hey Anne,

For changing the data, if you're using a list view, you can put a button in the list view itself, which opens the new_edit page on click.

 

If you’re using a Datagrid, you can put an action button, which, opens the new_edit page on click.
