the server failed to start. see details for the server log How can this be resolved?

I'm doing the Mendix Introduction course but everytime I 'run locally' I get this pop up error message ""the server failed to start. see details for the server log" However, the log is empty. I already cleaned deployment directory and restarted my computer several times. Please help?

Can you check your console tab in the modeler? And check for red error messages there

No error message in the console tab.

I have the same problem…. nothing changed, last week it was running without problems. I tried reinstalling the modeler, deleted/downloaded the project again, updating JDK…. nothing helped.

Am using version 6.10.13 of the modeler… updating to a more recent version is not possible atm.

Anyone has an update for this?

What solved it for me was changing the language /location settings on my (Dutch) computer to USA / English. Try that!

Never received anything meaningful from mendix by the way
