Implement Mendix into a webserver

0
Hi Mendix, I have built a Mendix application for intranet purposes, for my company. We have no server where we can run it on locally. We do however have webspace where our website is hosted on. I have FTP access to this, is it possible to host mendix on this, or is this not possible? I would love to know, love the product. Thanks in advance

No, this would to my knowledge not be possible. But even for an Intranet I still would use the cloud option. It does not make a price difference when you host it yourself (with the extra costs etc) or when using a cloud slot. And from a security standpoint, Mendix has proven himself to comply to very high standards. Large companies with sensitive information do trust Mendix with their data in the cloud.

Hi Achiel and others. Thanks for the reply. Sorry I'm not that techie. What are sandboxes?

I've built an application, my company has 20 employees. I have made 20 user accounts for the mendix app. The users only sometimes login, it's not like they're active all the time. The system is an "intranet", so employees can add offdays, add days they're sick etc, write news messages etc.

What would be the best way to implement this into my company?
