Disabling the platformbar?

When running an app in a sandbox the platformbar is always shown. Is there a way to hide the platformbar?

René, no there is not a way to hide the patformbar. The platform bar is a part of the Launch Pad where you can switch between applications, your applications is integrated with the Launch pad, so the platform bar is always included.

To remove the platform bar, just don't include it in your layout design for your application. You will however not be able to switch between applications.
