Google Maps widget works on phone but not correctly on desktop and tablet

I have the Google Maps widget working correctly on phone devices, but I have problems with desktop and tablet: On desktop browsers (Chrome, Firefox) the widget works fine in a pop-up page while development. In the acceptance environment in the cloud however the pop-up page appears with an endlessly spinning wheel. On tablet (iPad) the widget works fine the second time and onwards. Only at the first time the pop-up page is shown at half the regular height and a scroll-bar at the right. Anybody else with the same problems or know how to solve it?
