version control without a mouse

Hello, I’ve to reduce the amount of “mouse-usage” and I’m wondering if instead of clicking e.g. ‘commit’ in the Modeler I could write it in a terminal/cmd? Like: git commit -m "add foo" svn commit -m "add bar" Thanks :)

You can strongly reduce mouse use by using the shortcut keys.

For committing you can use the alt-p → o to commit from the IDE. Committing from the IDE has some advantages compared to committing from commandline, like adding a story to the commit, and selecting previous commit-comments.

I've found a way to do full version control by only typing in a terminal w/ tortoiseSVN 1.7 or higher. How can be found here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/1625406/using-tortoisesvn-via-the-command-line
