As a new developer, one of the things I value most about the platform is that it is continuously improved. I just realized the DataGrid Search Filters widget was updated to work with Mendix 7.10 a couple of weeks ago. I spent a day working on search functionality that would have have been resolved by this. How can I receive notifications for updates to: Modeler Widgets (at least the ones installed on one of my projects but ideally any widget) New widgets released by Mendix What is the best way to keep up with all the new Mendix goodness!? Thanks EDIT: discovered on another post: https://www.followthatpage.com. That site will notify you when a page changes. They allow checking 20 pages per day for free. This is not the ideal solution because it involves a third party and can't check the widgets you have installed, but it helps.
New mendix versions are usually released at the end/beggining of a month.
Regarding widgets, I think that if you favorite them you will get a notification for any updates but I am not sure.
A way to stay up to date with new Mendix goodness is to follow the Mendix blogs:
This will not give you updates on widgets, however, you will find blogposts on big platform updates like the recent REST Publish, Atlas UI, etc.
For the widgets that have a Github entry you could also try subscribing to the github project connected, often there will be a commit there before it is updated in the app store.
