We use our app to send appointment confirmations to our clients via email. It is set up so that the app uses the Office365 credentials of the current user to send the email via our Office 365 account. It works very well except that some emails are being rejected by the recipient's server (gmail, aol, outlook.com) with the following details: Any help is welcome. Remote Server returned '550 5.1.8 Access denied, spam abuse detected' Original message headers: Received: from appnode-fewtaanab.dfw.rack.mendixcloud.net (23.253.102.192) by DM2PR0201MB0893.namprd02.prod.outlook.com (25.160.215.14) with Microsoft SMTP Server (TLS) id 15.1.125.19; Mon, 30 Mar 2015 15:26:56 +0000 Date: Mon, 30 Mar 2015 10:26:51 -0500 From: hroberts@brothersservices.com To: amandajcho@gmail.com Message-ID: <1215868576.161.1427729211436.JavaMail.javamailuser@localhost> Subject: Appointment With Brothers Services MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="----=Part159_1671436715.1427729211431" Return-Path: hroberts@brothersservices.com X-Originating-IP: [23.253.102.192] X-ClientProxiedBy: BY2PR06CA037.namprd06.prod.outlook.com (10.141.250.155) To DM2PR0201MB0893.namprd02.prod.outlook.com (25.160.215.14) Authentication-Results: gmail.com; dkim=none (message not signed) header.d=none; X-Microsoft-Antispam: UriScan:;BCL:0;PCL:0;RULEID:;SRVR:DM2PR0201MB0893; X-Forefront-Antispam-Report: BMV:1; X-Microsoft-Antispam-PRVS: DM2PR0201MB0893B7FECC3D6BB32121F48BE0F50@DM2PR0201MB0893.namprd02.prod.outlook.com X-Exchange-Antispam-Report-Test: UriScan:; X-Exchange-Antispam-Report-CFA-Test: BCL:0;PCL:0;RULEID:(601004)(5002010)(5005006);SRVR:DM2PR0201MB0893; X-Forefront-PRVS: 05315CBE52

add some more information to your brothersservices domain DNS records:

we did this also for office365, Mandrill and Mailchimp in the TXT records of the customer's domain.

v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com include:spf.mandrillapp.com include:appnode-darok.lon.rack.mendixcloud.net include:servers.mcsv.net ~all
