where to change local workspace for Mendix Studio Pro 8.15.1? OneDrive throws error messages at me, “default.tmp” could not be synced. therefore I’d like to change my local workspace folder outside OneDrive’s reach. preferences don’t offer anything like that.

OneDrive is notorious for these kind of problems. Setting your mendix directory to a location that does not get synchronised will solve it.
You can change your directory when you download your app, or just manually copy/paste the folder to another directory and open the .mpr from there.
