Possibility to use variables when setting page title from MicroFlow

69

Currently it's possible to override the page title when you open a page from a microflow*. However you can only enter static text here. Since you often use the open page action in a microflow to retrieve, create or change data before opening the page, it would be great if it was possible to use this data in the page title.

I know that this can now be achieved by not having a page title on the page and adding another "fake" page tiltle to the page, but this only works if the page title can be placed within the top-level dataview of the page without affection layout.

*Bonus points: Mendix knows what the top-level dataview of a page is, it would be even awesomer if we could use the object in this dataview when configuring the page title!

Our client asked for this today. They work in a multi-tab environment and it is very hard for them to see which tab that contains which information

Two more question posted on the forum asking for this functionality: https://forum.mendix.com/link/questions/98552 and https://forum.mendix.com/link/questions/98579. Maybe check if the solution of Erika by using CustomString Widget from the App Store: https://appstore.home.mendix.com/link/app/1426/ is a good base for implementing this.

Bump bump. Would love this functionality too.

I'd love to be able to use more dynamic page titles since users often want names and such of objects in titles
