I would like to suggest to add a feature in which you can specify the default background color of different activities. In our projects we use different colors for activities (ie yellow is variable, blue is list, green is submicroflow). We now have to manually set these colours after creation of an activity, which costs time. On top of that it is possible to forget setting these colours, which could result in microflows having inconsistent colouring.
It would be appreciated if there is an option to specify custom colours of activitie types that will be applied to the activities that are created afterwards/will be applied to all activities of the same type.
In the release notes of 8.6:
It is now possible to select a default color for each microflow activity type separately. This setting is stored in your app project, which means that all the App Team members working on the app will see the same colors. The Project Settings dialog box presents an overview that allows you to change the default color for all activity types. Also, it is now possible to set a current activity’s color as default by right-clicking it in the microflow editor and selecting the new Set as default color option in the context menu. Finally, when changing a default color, it is possible to reset any custom colors that are assigned to activities in your app project so they will use the default color as well.
Good news! You can now set default colours to activity types with 8.6.
Great idea! This would be really helpful during development and this way every member of the team will use the right colours automatically!
Color coding is helpful, even more so if all business engineers use the same color coding. Being able to set this project-wide, and having a Mendix-standard would be very nice.
We also use this, but it's often overlooked (especially if new people join the project). Would love to have a project-wide setting!

We set these colors on every new microflow we create, but a project-level configuration would speed along the development process. We've found great value in color-coding our microflow actions.
